Nice to meet you, I'm Maocra! I live in England, I'm an artist and I'm in love with a big silly skeleton man (my fiance) named Nycto.
I've been professionally illustrating for about 3 years, as of 2025, but I've loved art and have been drawing my whole life.As a child I wanted to be a mangaka. I remember crying about "failing" at drawing a realistic eye in my first proper art class in primary school and so when I got home that day, I started drawing by watching and following Mark Crilley tutorials (big shout out to him) which is how I started studying how to make manga. Some of my favourite artists as a kid were Yamio, Hyanna Natsu and Katsura Hoshino.I played many JRPGs growing up, and it definitely influenced my works, as well as my learning experiences in life. As I grew I exposed myself to more types of art and I've grown to appreciate them all. From classical old masters' works to contemporary fine artists and all manners of stylised cartoon works from all around the world.After starting streaming as a hobby in April of 2022, I decided on VTubing as a way to simply not have my face on display all the time whilst working, as such I don't really deem myself an actual VTuber. But I really adore how creative all kinds of VTuber models can get.And, despite being passionate about character design, my avatar is simply a stylised self portrait in a fancy outfit. I hope you like it nonetheless!Thank you for taking the time to learn some silly facts about me!

Commissions Information

At the moment, I offer mostly character design commissions and illustrations although I do have other options open on my Ko-Fi.I'm happy to be approached for a project if there's something more specific you'd like.
Simply fill out the custom project section of the form to enquire about this. If I decide to work on that project with you, I will contact you by Discord or E-mail to enquire about the details.If you're interested in commissioning me, you may read my terms of service and you may submit a form afterwards (if I'm currently accepting commissions). Prices range between £40 and £200 overall.You can get skeb-like commissions on my Ko-Fi.

Terms of Service

● In order to commission me you must be 18 years of age. If you are not, or I suspect that you are not, I will refuse the commission.
● I reserve the right to refuse any commission.
● I will not draw NSFW, however mild gore and somewhat suggestive themes are okay. I also will not draw detailed backgrounds/environments.
● Commissions may take a while, so if you have a deadline/need priority please state the deadline on your form submission. This will be discussed and may require a fee.Condensed commission T.O.S
This is a quick overview for the customer. The detailed version can be found here, I would highly advise reading it, all terms apply regardless. You will also find my prices there, more detailed information about the types of commissions I offer and my workflow.● Must be paid fully in GBP before I start work.
● You are expected to read this condensed T.O.S at least.
● Details for commissions must be in a bullet point format with relevant visual references (max 8.)
● Payment plans are available, you will not receive the finished work until all payments are made. Do not pay me until we have confirmed a slot.
● The product will be delivered digitally.
● You are not permitted to modify the work itself in any way (e.g you may not use it for generative AI, NFTs or cryptocurrency etc).
● You may not use the work for commercial purposes. This includes printing, creating copies or merchandise etc. with intent to sell.
● As the artist I retain copyright and the right to use it for commercial purposes.
● Regardless of how you use it, you must use it with credit to me. Removal of the watermark is not permitted.
● Any works created by me are not permitted to be resold.
● Prices are subject to change.
